On a failed save, each creature takes 4d12 poison damage and is poisoned until the end of your next turn. On a successful saving throw, a creature takes half as much damage and does not become poisoned. At Higher Levels. If you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d12 for each slot level above 4th.
